The biggest difference between this opening and that of the film Juno*, which we have analysed in class, is that there is no focus on the supposedly 'less important' people who helped produce the film. In Juno you are shown who is the 'Costume Designer' and 'Music Supervisor' for example, but in the Pelham opening we are only told who the main director is, and who the two main actors are. This is probably because of the genre. The Taking of Pelham 123 is a crime thriller and so it is expected to launch straight into the action. This difference could also be attributed to the different production companies.
